Course Goal

The goal of "World Geography Connects: 1500 AD to the Present" is to support the Virginia Standards of Learning for World History and Geography by:

• connecting the pageant of world history to its geographical foundations;
  
• connecting the pageant of world history to the contemporary world in which we live;
  
• connecting the pageant of world history to events in Virginia and the United States; and
  
• connecting teachers to sources of lesson plans, resources, and Internet links.
